| pleased to welcome many visitors including W.Bro. | |
| Gowan O'Hagan Master of Progress Mark Lodge No. 898 | |

| At the Festive Board which was a Burn's Supper | |
| the Master was pleased to welcome three | |
| (not yet) Mark Masons. | |
| After a warming Cock-a-leekie soup, the Brethren | |
| stood while the "Piping of the haggis" was | |
| undertaken by Bro. Alan Roscoe. | |
| The Haggis was then addressed by W.Bro. John | |
| Hood, following this the Haggis served | |
wi' tatties an' neeps. |
|
| The Main course was succulent Aberdeen Angus | |
| Beef with accompanying Vegetables, Roast and | |
| boiled Potatoes. | |
| In true Burn's night tradition the dessert was | |
| Cranachan. | |
| Unfortunately due to the worsening weather | |
| festivities has to be cut short. | |
| Everyone present enjoyed the evening, thanks are due to the organising committee, W.Bro.Peter Schofield | |
| and W.Bro. John Dawber. | |
| As the members tried to leave Ridgmont House they encountered a foot of snow at the exit from the | |
| Car Park, the hardy staff helped dig a way through the snow much to the relief and appreciation of us all. | |
